About Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid
Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid, 82, died Aug 28, 2021. He was chief secretary to the government from 1990 to 1996 and a highly-respected public service administrator. He was the founder and first chairperson of the Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia (Ikim). He is survived by a wife and five children.
